What is Included
with every Perfect Launch engagement?
There’s a lot to look for, and this is just a sampling:
Human Review
Compare the site with JPGs of your design to make sure that the full page – including header, footer, sidebars and main content areas – match that original design.
Click on all links from the home page and select internal pages, including main menu buttons, drop down bars, and sidebars if available, to make sure that they are operating as expected.
Test the design in all modern web browsers, resizing at 50px intervals to make sure that there are no issues with your responsive website design. We will repeat the tests for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Check the 404 page, making sure that it sends proper browser headers, and check that the site has an html and xml sitemap for search engines.
Contact Forms – We will send test emails from contact forms, and confirm it is received at the appropriate email. If there are multiple versions of contact forms (such as a mobile version), we will check every form.
Check to be sure a full favicon package is implemented, that there are no watermarked images on the site, and that there is no Lorem Ipsum content on the site.
SEO Testing & Compliance
WCAG Accessibility Reporting
We strive to make the internet a more inclusive, accessible place. Ayokay are experts in website accessibility standards, and will provide detailed recommendations for making your website WCAG compliant. WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 are stable, referenceable technical standards. They have 12-13 guidelines that are organized under 4 principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We will test your website for compliance with A, AA, or AAA as well as provide a detailed checklist on how to improve your compliance.
SEO 301 Redirects
We will take the pain out of making sure your new website maintains its SEO rankings by redirecting all old pages to new pages. We will generate a list of all URLs on the website and choose redirects for each one. After the list is approved, we will put the redirects in place. We will also redirect non-www to www, http to https, your testing link to www and alternate domains, if applicable.
Ensure that Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools are installed, as well as any necessary Conversion Codes.
Check for each page type.
Page Speed Test for the entire website.
Check for missing and duplicate title tags & meta descriptions as well as duplicate content issues
Make sure that proper schema / microformat is implemented throughout the site
Make sure all social media icons are linked to the correct pages and are in compliance with each social media platform’s logo use requirements
Check images to ensure that each has a relevant ALT tag and is optimized for best performance.
Ensure URLs are SEO friendly (short, extensionless, close to the URL). Check that canonical tags are implemented if necessary.
Check that the robots.txt file is present and make sure the website allows indexing of pages
Check for broken images, mixed content (http loading on https), error status codes, crawl errors, and other potential optimizations or enhancements.
Test your website for w3c compliance on Home Page, Standard Page and Post Page, ensuring that browsers and search bots fully understand your site content.
